Join Dawn Spyker, ABG's July Artist in Residency, for an artful evening under the beautiful summer sky, and learn to create ceramic garden orbs to adorn your beautiful flower beds! This hand building ceramic activity is designed for ages 8 - adult. Guests will experience the process of press mold hand building with clay, decorating with sprig molds inspired by natural elements found in and around the Alaska Botanical Garden and finalizing the garden orb with underglaze colors! These unique pieces will need to be fired in a kiln and as such, participants will receive their completed piece one week after the activity (to be picked up at the garden).
