Learn to use oil paints while painting in the dark with only a headlamp! Capture exciting light and color reactions my mixing paint outside at night in our Brighter Winter Nights Exhibit as it illuminates the Alaska Botanical Garden. Mixing paint in the dark causes you to create high chroma color mixing, so when you bring your painting back in the light, you will be amazed at the color palette. This exciting workshop allows special exclusive access to paint in the boreal forest and Garden after dark. Practice your painting skills and enjoy painting with others under the night sky. Bring a headlamp, camping chair, hot drinks, and dress in warm layers as we will be painting outside in low temperatures.
