Looking for a unique way to send your holiday greetings this year? Join us for a fun workshop on creating one of a kind holiday cards that can double as gifts! Learn to use oil paint and imagery of your favorite festive nature scenes, winter berries, fruits, herbs, pine boughs, birch bark, and holiday décor to create unique hand-made gift cards. The class itself also makes a great gift, grab a friend or family member to make it a paint party. Get inspired by the beauty of the Garden while painting season’s greetings in the Greenhouse. Taught by local artist Betany Porter.
Kits are limited; please sign up ahead of time. If you wish to bring your own supplies, please make sure you have a few colors of oil paint, a glass or metal palette to mix them on and brushes. We will provide cards and limited supply of colors to share for everyone. If you do not need a full kit but wish to purchase a partial kit, please contact Stacey Shriner (stacey.shriner@alaskabg.org) for a list of extra supplies available.
