Garden Insect Ecology

Join Alexandria Wenninger, an entomologist with UAF's Cooperative Extension Service's Integrated Pest Management Program, as she presents on some common backyard insects in Alaska. She'll provide information and photos about many of our commonly encountered insects here in Alaska and the role they play in the garden (pollinator, predator, herbivore, decomposer). A portion of this presentation will take place outside looking for insects so please dress for the weather.
