Explore the art of wet and needle felting to create picturesque paintings inspired by Alaska Botanical Garden scenes in this fun two-day workshop. You'll discover techniques to translate natural beauty into tactile artworks using wool fibers. During Saturday’s session, we will use luxurious merino wool to create your own autumn inspired wet felted scene and then enhance your design with needle felting embellishments during Sunday’s session. Sample scenes will be available for inspiration or arrive at the garden early to seek your own inspiration and create a design with the guidance of the instructor. All supplies are provided. Space is limited; you must register ahead of time. There is a $5 cancellation fee for all cancellations. No refunds for cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice.
