Donna Dewhurst has been experimenting with gardening in Alaska since 1987, from the Western Aleutians, to King Salmon to Anchorage.  As a retired Wildlife Biologist, she now devotes her time to freelance photography and writing, running a small hobby farm, and volunteering as a Master Gardener.  She has entered produce and flowers in the Alaska State Fair for over 20 years, winning numerous Division Champions and Best in Show - Crops Department twice.
