Featured this Season: Blue Himalayan Poppy
(Meconopsis 'Lingholm')
Seeds $3.00 per pack + handling / postage
Growing Instructions: Refrigerate seeds at least 30 days (these seeds have been pre-chilled), then spread in tray on top of planting medium. Gently press seeds in, do not cover. Cover tray with plastic, maintain temperature between 50°F and 60°F. Seeds germinate in 30 days. Remove cover after sprouting. When seedlings have first true leaves, pick out and place into plug trays filled with fishy peat. Young plants thrive and mature best in cool climates. Plant in rich compost and keep moist. Meconopsis does best in part shade with temperatures under 80 degrees. They mature to 3’ tall and 2’ wide and are listed hardy in zone 3-7. There are about 350 seeds per pack.
