Christin Anderson has a lifelong passion for mycology. She has studied diesel-degrading fungi for her master’s degree at UAF, researched a waterborne fungus that grows on frog skin called chytrid at Cornell, and taught a class on mushrooms at Oberlin College while she was earning her bachelor’s. When she isn’t looking for mushrooms she enjoys volunteering at the National Park Service, pulling up invasive weeds, and dancing.

Come with questions and mushrooms from your backyard as she delves into this under-represented kingdom of fungi!
