Learn the basic tenants of landscape design and walk away with a new plan for your garden! In this workshop you will create your own garden design with guidance and examples of appealing, useful, and creative landscapes. Key elements of design such as focal points, axis and paths, and scale will be explained. These concepts will help property owners understand why a design may be appealing to them and how they can apply these techniques to their own gardens. This workshops meets one night a week for three weeks. Attendees should bring a site plan of their property or the area to be designed; pencils – mechanical suggested; an architects scale; photos of the area; inspirational photos; and a desire to create! Space limited, reservations required.
