Join us for an engaging and hands-on teacher professional development workshop at the Alaska Botanical Garden! Designed for Kinder, 1st, 3rd and 6th grade teachers.

This workshop features newly developed Project Learning Tree (PLT) STEM kits designed to complement and enhance the ASD STEM Science Kits. Kits target Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd and 6th grade Science Curriculum and are alligned with the ASD STEM and National Science Standards. Participants will learn how to best integrate them into their classroom, best practices for getting kids outside, and how to create meaningful learning spaces outside of the classroom. Participants receive a PLT Activity Guide as well as behind-the-scenes tours of the gardens of the Alaska Botanical Garden.
This is a PACE 500-level course and option for 1 credit of continuing education through UAA. Sign up through the ANROE website on Eventbrite. Space is limited so sign up today!
