ABG Workshop: Composting 101

Compost is an amazing resource! It builds soil structure, fertility, and tilth and helps grow healthy, nutrient rich soil. You can successfully build compost for your garden with the right tools and knowledge. Join Will Criner for a hands-on workshop all about compost. You will learn about various ways to compost (hot, vermicomposting, etc.) and have the knowledge to go home and start or improve your compost system so you are ready to go for the 2015 season. Bring your compost questions and get answers to help you build your compost in 2015!
Will Criner has been ABG’s Assistant Horticulturist since the 2012 season. He received is BS in Horticulture at Murray State University in Kentuckyin 2008 and workes his way up to Alaska via Montana and Washington. Will is full of creative and alternative ideas to help everyone garden successfully.
*Workshop will be held at Bell’s Nursery on Specking Avenue.*
$20 ABG Members/$25 Non-members
Registration is required and spaces are limited. In the event of low RSVP, you will be notified of cancellation at least the day prior to the workshop and registrations will be refunded.
