The Garden is open daylight hours year round. The
Garden Shop is open year round too - but the Nursery will reopen in May.

Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop with Dan Elliott

Join ABG and Dan Elliott of the Pioneer Fruit Growers
for a fruit tree pruning workshop! We'll learn about
timing and techniques of how to properly prune fruit
trees and have a hands-on pruning demonstration in
ABG's Lile's Garden.

June 2 - July 23 Junior Master Gardener Day Camp The Alaska Botanical Garden's ever-popular Junior Master Gardener Day Camp is a weekly program
inspiring youth to learn about and connect with the
outdoors and gardening. This program runs for 8
weeks and teaches kids about gardening, soil,
seeds, insects and more. Camp attendees come to
ABG one day per week (Monday, Tuesday or
Wednesday) in the morning (9 am – 12 pm) or
afternoon (1 – 4 pm) each week June 2nd - July 23rd,
